I left UNH in the spring of '84 and moved back home to Haddonfield. I was concerned about stopping my education, but I didn't see any other road that I was comfortable with, so it felt like my best option. Besides, it would give me time to save some money and prepare myself to get out on the road like I had dreamed so long of doing.
Living at home and working was supplemented by a lot of reading. I felt that I was preparing myself for my ultimate departure, as well as wanting to gain as much value as I could from my time out of school. I bought a 450 cc motorcycle to get around town on, and was looking forward to saving enough money to ride it West come Spring.
