1/2/08 Message from Dave Fenn, CMAC President
Hello CMAC Families,
The race season for our Junior Racers is well on its way! The Mite Mite Racers are quickly approaching their first qualifying race for the Buddy Werner Team (see information on the race info page for qualifications) and PREP program is set to begin this weekend.
Please join the Board of Directors and Program Representatives at the Alpine Inn for "Social Hour" this Saturday (January 5th) to promote adult bonding within our club. Although kids are not able to enter the Alpine Inn due to alcoholic beverages being freely available, hot cocoa will be available out front while the parents get to know one another at this annual event. Although the Alpine Inn does have a wonderful buffet that was avaialable through reservation ONLY, all reservations are filled. If seating is available, they will allow seating on a drop-in basis.
HOWEVER, please do not forget that that Alpine Inn is putting on luncheons for parents, coaches, and racers to get more acquainted. The first luncheon is January 13th at 11:30AM. Please call and book your table at 1-888-754-6400 or e-mail reservations@crystalhotels.com to make your reservation. The number of tables is limited so call early and make certain you tell the Alpine Inn you are with the CMAC party. You are responsible for the cost of your meal.

CMAC Philosophy
CMAC's philosophy is to provide a program that is fun and enjoyable for all participants while developing strong skiing skills learned through structured training and direted free skiing using the entire mountain. This creates strong ski racers and excellent skiers with a deep love of the sport. The CMAC philosophy not only develops successful ski racers, but life long skiers in a true life long sport. This philosophy also develops life skills that transcend sports.
