Volunteer Opportunities

Crystal Mountain Alpine Club is predominantly a volunteer organization.  We depend on Parent participation to ensure our season runs smoothly.  Becoming active in our club as a volunteer is one of the best ways you can learn more about the sport of ski racing and our club.

CMAC requires Families to sign up to volunteer as part of our Annual Registration process.  Please be sure to review comprehensive list of Volunteer Descriptions for more information.

This season we have several opportunities available for you to consider.

Race Volunteer – This season CMAC is hosting 5 races at Crystal.  Each race requires approximately 50 volunteers in order to be successful.

Special Events Volunteer – Every year CMAC holds several special events and we need volunteers to help organize and run these events for the club.  This year we are planning a Social, Prep season BBQ , and End of Season Banquet.

Race Program Representative - Parent/Coach/Program Communications are critical and every season we rely on Race Program Representatives to keep the lines of communications open.

Volunteers Needed/Positions Filled – Here is where you can always come to find out what positions we still need volunteers for along with what we currently have you signed up for.

Ready to Sign up?  To sign up for a Volunteer Position send an email to our Volunteer Coordinator – Kari Hensien at cmacmom@live.com .  Be sure to include in that email the Dates and Positions you would like to sign up for.  Kari will promptly respond to your request and confirm available positions with you. 

Note:  Volunteer Positions are allocated on a first come first served basis starting the day the 2009/2010 Application becomes available.
