Bastard Oblivion Spells

Sense Oblivion (Level 1) — The Chosen has learned to recognize the effects of Oblivion magic and know its presence. The Chosen may also detect the presence of nearby Oblivion servants.
Requirements: Oblivion 1.
System: The Chosen rolls Bastard + Air (Difficulty 8). Each success grants greater detail of nearby Oblivion.

Unseen Presence (Level 2) — The Chosen may move about without anyone noticing her. This is not true invisibility, but a form of social invisibility.
Requirements: Oblivion 2, Spirit 1.
System: The Chosen spends a point of Aura and rolls Bastard + Oblivion (Difficulty 8). So long as her actions are not too blatant, she is totally ignored for ten minutes per success.

Silence (Level 2) — From within a ten-yard radius from the target, no noise or sound can be heard.
Requirements: Oblivion 2, Air 1.
System: The Chosen spends a point of Aura and rolls Bastard + Oblivion (Difficulty 8). Duration lasts one round per success.

Halt the Wasting (Level 4) — The Chosen has learned how to control the Wasting to a small degree. She may give her Wasting to someone else, and so does not suffer from it herself.
Requirements: Oblivion 4, Water 3.
System: The Chosen spends a point of Aura and rolls Bastard + Oblivion (Difficulty 8). Prolonged physical contact with the target is mandatory (usually an evening of sex will suffice). She may hold off the effects of the Wasting for one week per success by giving it permanently to her target.

Sooth the Pain (Level 4) — This rare Spell is used to remove the Pain from a Karano.
Requirements: Oblivion 4, Omni 3.
System: The Chosen spends two points of Aura and rolls Bastard + Oblivion (Difficulty 8). The target will not suffer from the Pain or the Wasting for one day per success (in effect gaining the Merit Immune to Oblivion Influence). Spending a point of Faith or succeeding with five or more successes will make the effects of this Spell permanent.
