Hee Ascending

Known as "Thermal Flux", this Aspect holds sway over temperatures. Magic from this Aspect is called "Dynamic Fire". Chosen with this Aspect as their Patron tend to be resilient to extreme climates.

Boon

Insulation — The Chosen is immune, to a small degree, to the effects of temperature extremes.
System: The Chosen rolls Fire + Faith (Difficulty 6). The Chosen may ignore one level of heat or cold related damage per success in addition to her normal soak.


Dynamic Fire Spells

Sample Character Air Conditioning (Level 1) — This is a very common utility Spell for maintaining the room temperature that the Chosen occupies. It can also be used on a cloak, to keep her warm in winter, and cool in summer.
Requirements: Fire 1.
System: The Chosen spends a point of Aura and rolls Dynamic + Fire (Difficulty 8). Duration lasts one hour per success.

Heat Metal (Level 2) — The Chosen may cause a single metal object to sear and burn anyone in contact with it. The object glows red-hot.
Requirements: Fire 2.
System: The Chosen spends a point of Aura and rolls Dynamic + Fire (Difficulty 8). Anyone holding or wearing the target metal object takes one level of damage per success. If the object is being held, it is dropped out of reflex. This Spell has no effect on non-metallic objects. Duration only last one round, after which the object instantly cools.

Conduction (Level 3) — The Chosen may transfer the heat from one object to another. Freezing water to heat a stone and vice-versa.
Requirements: Fire 3.
System: The Chosen spends a point of Aura and rolls Dynamic + Fire (Difficulty 8). Duration lasts one round per success.

Combustion (Level 4) — The Chosen can cause objects even slightly flammable to spontaneously burst into flame.
Requirements: Fire 4.
System: The Chosen spends two points of Aura and rolls Dynamic + Fire (Difficulty 8). Three or more successes will cause human flesh to catch on fire. Five successes might inflame things that ordinarily should not burn.

Warp Spasm (Level 5) — The Chosen becomes immolated, igniting anything flammable she touches.
Requirements: Fire 5.
System: The Chosen spends three points of Aura and rolls Dynamic + Fire (Difficulty 8). Her hand damage gains one die of aggravated damage per success on top of normal damage. Duration lasts until end of scene. Upon five successes or more all metal near the Chosen begins to melt.
