Bastard Spirit Spells

Sense Spirit (Level 1) — The Chosen has learned to recognize the effects of Spirit magic and know its presence. The Chosen may also detect the presence of ghosts, spirits, souls, etc.
Requirements: Spirit 1.
System: The Chosen rolls Bastard + Spirit (Difficulty 8). Each success grants greater detail of nearby spirits.

Communion (Level 1) — The Chosen may communicate with other beings on their own level. She may even use this to speak to someone who does not share her language.
Requirements: Spirit 1.
System: The Chosen spends a point of Aura and rolls Bastard + Spirit (Difficulty 8). Each success grants a greater level of communication between the Chosen and the being. Duration lasts until the end of the scene.

Spirit Manifest (Level 2) — If a being is ivisible and intangible, the Chosen brings it down into the range of perception.
Requirements: Spirit 2.
System: The Chosen spends a point of Aura and rolls Bastard + Spirit (Difficulty 8). Each success adds one scense to the spirits presense. The first is sight, then sound, smell, touch, and finally taste (don't go there). Duration lasts until the end of the scene.

Exorcism (Level 3) — The Chosen can eject spirits from places and objects, whether they are there voluntarily or are bound there. Spirits possessing bodies are a little trickier to exorcise.
Requirements: Spirit 3.
System: The Chosen spends a point of Aura and rolls Bastard + Spirit (Difficulty 8). The number of successes needed is determined by the Storyteller. The spirit will remain gone until let back in by invitation or binding.

Autonomous Animation (Level 4) — The Chosen may enliven the spirits of inanimate objects so that they may move of their own accord. With this spell, it is possible to allow a book to turn its own pages, a suit of armor to walk by itself, etc.
Requirements: Spirit 3, Air 2, Water 2.
System: The Chosen spends three points of Aura and rolls Bastard + Spirit (Difficulty 8). The inanimate object may manipulate itself for ten minutes per success. Additionally, it will be amiable to any commands from the caster.

Summoning (Level 4) — The Chosen can reach out to a spirit (embodied or not) and command it to come to her, but she must remain is the same location the entire time.
Requirements: Spirit 4.
System: The Chosen spends two points of Aura and rolls Bastard + Spirit (Difficulty 8). The range is ten miles per success (before the target may resist). If at least three successes are scored, the target does not know that he is being summoned. Five successes will make the target drop everything to make best possible speed to the Chosen. Duration lasts until the target arrives at the Chosen's location. This Spell does not require a direct line-of-sight with the target.
