Caveat Lector: The following list of restaurants, pasticcerias, rosticcerias, gelaterias, and salumerias is by no means exhaustive, does not even venture into certain regions, and certainly omits others deserving mention. Nor can we claim to have visited even a fraction of these establishments, relying heavily upon written sources from reputable books, magazines and guides. However, our list is meant to be representative, ranging from truly refined dining, to the unpretentious; from prices truly princely, to economical (though most should be moderately priced unless noted otherwise). Italian Sojourns, Inc. appreciates any recommendations for additions or other improvements to our list. If you send us recommendations please send as much information as possible including the establishment's full name, address, telephone & fax, closure dates, whether credit cards are accepted, and anything which you feel distinguished your meal their (food preparation, service, ambiance, views). In posting this list Italian Sojourns, Inc. has no interest other than sharing information and makes no endorsements. The symbol "*" indicates particularly distinguished food, ambiance or overall experience. [back to index] |
