Common Problem Types
(7th and 8th Grades)
Certain types of problems show up often in the WSMC Math Olympiad problem sets.
This is a list of the most common types of problems and their solutions for the 7th and 8th grade competitions. The problems column references are listed in difficulty order with the most difficult at the bottom. I have included 5th and 6th grade problems of the same types as 'warmups'.
